I was in the pool,

We had a great Civil Right's Day weekend. We left Friday after Scott got off work and drove to Grandma and Grandpa McBride's house for the weekend. The boys had a blast riding quads, helping Grandpa feed the cows, riding in Grandpa's tractor and visiting with Grandma and Grandpa. On Saturday, we drove up the mountain to play in the snow.

Sunday was Grandma Diane's birthday, which was the reason for the visit. We went to church with them because we always love visiting the Rodeo branch. The branch is so small that they only have 2 Primary children, who are brother and sister. This family was out of town for the weekend, which left my boys as the only Primary children. A sweet couple in their branch, Brother and Sister Joens did Primary and a nursery for my 3 boys so that I could enjoy Sunday School and Relief Society. I'm so grateful for them.

We drove home Monday and drove through the Gila Valley so we could see the new Temple. A temple in that valley really is a sight to see. Very beautiful, especially with Mt. Grahamm behind it.

Monday, January 18th, is the birthday of our daughter Aubrey, who was stillborn due to a birth defect called anencephaly. She is buried in Thatcher cemetary, between my grandparents. We love every opportunity to stop in to visit her and remind our boys that she is part of our family forever.

My camera is broken, so we had to go the whole weekend without pictures. Very sad.

Congratulations Graduate!

He did it! My amazing husband did it! He's a Arizona State University graduate and the boys and I couldn't be more proud! It's a lot harder to go to college when you're supporting a family, but my honey did it! Scott now has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. We so happy to have him home in the evenings and to have more time together as a family!
