4 years ago today, I got up around 5:30 am to go to the bathroom when my water broke. We called my Mom, who was so willing to get over to my house that early in the morning and take Brad and Jared and Scott and I went off to the hospital! Our baby was born on July 21st, 2007 at 5:56 pm, weighing 9 lbs 11 oz and 22 inches long. There's no denying that he's the baby of the family. He gets spoiled by us all!
Every day (Monday thru Thursday) after swim team and lessons, we eat free lunch at the elementary school. Yes, I said free. It's been such a great thing for us! The mess stays at the school, my kitchen remains clean, and we save so much money and energy to not have to feed 5 kids (my 3 and the 2 boys I babysit) out of our own pantry. Thank you school district! My tax money is going to good use. Then on Fridays, after our summer movie fun movie, we eat lunch at Costco.
Jared and Brad have been on the swim team this summer at our local public pool. They compete in freestyle, breast-stroke, backstroke and butterfly, both individual and in a relay team. It's been a great experience for them and they're bringing home lots of ribbons, from 1st to participation. I don't think Jared understands what a participation ribbon means because he seems to get the most excited when he gets one of those. =)
Here is Jared diving in for a race: Whew, he made it!
This year, we spent the 4th of July weekend in Pinedale. Scott's parents moved to Pinedale about 3 months ago. It's about 20 minutes outside of Show Low. I know you love looking at pictures of my kids, so here's a few.
Riding in Grandpa's truck is always a favorite. This is Grandpa's dog, Spur. Jack loves Spur and George, Grandpa's other dog. Sadly, we didn't get a picture of George. Tractor! Silly boys Chasing chickens, a new favorite.
